As everyone knows Japanese women have flawless, bright and smooth skin. In Korea, women depend on plastic surgery, but Japanese women do not, they prefer natural beauty, and prefer organic products to their beauty which is quite similar to beauty ideas of French women.
Japanese women are known for their flawless skin
Today I will show you simple skincare steps that people can easily do everyday to help improve the skin, the routine and products have changed according to skin needs. This skin care routine is included Japanese beauty tips.
How to get clear skin?
A. CLEANSING IS VERY IMPORTANT
1. Get used to double cleansing
Is it true that cleansing only required for people wearing makeup? Or Is it fine that you no need to have deep cleansing to remove sunscreen on your face? The answer is definitely not. During sleep, the kidney and liver make the process of exchange and excretion, unhealthy impurities are pushed up the epidermis, using cleanser alone is not enough to have healthy skin for sure!
Cleansing is one of the most important steps
Have you notice that around the nose area in red and oily, when you rub it with your hand, there is a foul smell. With oily skin and sebaceous gland disorders this usually happen. Therefore, I advise everyone to wash your face gently with cleansing water before using cleanser.
In the evening when I go home, I apply double cleansing so that the skin is as relaxed as possible, also remove the risk of acne as well as blackheads.
What is |b|triple cleansing|b|? Step by step with cleansing water - cleansing oil - cleanser. A lot of you will wonder if I do not makeup, just apply sunscreen, should I do many steps or not?
The answer is that it depends on the product people choose to use.
Because only the oil can dissolve the oil, the optimum option for combination skin to oily skin is cleansing oil.
However, It’s not compulsory that everyone has to have the same cleansing process as me, that just because I feel my skin will be the best if I apply triple cleansing into my daily skincare routine. If you think cleanser and cleansing water is enough and do not have any problem with acne, then keep going. Skin care is not only based on science but also has to be appropriate and effective on different skin types as well.
Cleansing water I recommend: Bioderma H2O Solution Micellaire (pink)
Cleansing oil I recommend:
Shuuemura Anti/Oxi+ Skin-Refining Anti-Dullness Cleansing Oil (blu)
Melvita Milky Cleansing Oil
Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Cleansing Oil
No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Oil
Facil Mild Cleansing Oil
Covermark Treatment Cleansing Oil
Cleanser recommended (choose pH 5.5 or lower, no soap and odorants, colorants, preservatives ...):
Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal to Oily Skin
La Roche Possay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel
With Beauty Gadget, if you have not invested in washing machines, you can simply use Sephora's silicone pad. There is also Hada Crie N4000 with ion technology but these Japanese beauty tools usually come with high price, so it’s optional.
2. Exfoliate
Exfoliate helps eliminating dead cells
The skin is an organ that constantly changes, the skin consists of three main layers: the epidermis, the dermis and the subcutaneous tissue. Skin parts such as cysts and sweat glands, sebaceous glands also play different roles in the overall function of the skin. The outer layer of the skin is made up of dead cells, which are routinely eliminated (with more than 30,000 skin cells per minute) as a mechanism to maintain skin health. The resurgence rate of skin cells is 3 weeks when we’re 20s and becomes slower over time. The new generation of skin cells, pushed to the surface of the skin, causes the layers of dead skin cells to peel off, and as such, the layer of dead cells is formed continuously.
Our skin can not completely eliminate dead cells. So, whether you choose scrub, peeling gel ... or chemical exfoliation (AHA / BHA), we still have to do the exfoliating to get rid of the old layer on the surface of the skin.
The physical exfoliation method, also known as mechanical exfoliation, is method of using scrub products ( type of grain, which causes the skin to become abrasive during the scrubbing process). The old layer on the epidermis is removed, new skin layer underneath get emerged. This method is popular nowaday, but rubbing the skin for long periods of time will cause the skin to thinned out, vulnerable as it has not promptly regenerated new skin layer. Therefore, I recommend everyone use exfoliating or peeling gel, I am using Cure Natural Aqua Gel – A Japanese cosmetic.
3. Lotion mask
Lotion mask
Lotion Mask is a method of applying moisturizing mask instantaneously, can be applied daily, take advantage of cotton remover and lotion. This beauty idea has been widely known by Chizu Saeki. Everyone can watch Chizu Saeki's videos to learn how to do lotion masks!
After 2 months applying this method, my skin is fully hydrated and small winkles disappeared. Now I know why both Koreans and Japanese are in favor of glowy skin while European has to use highlight products. They do not need that for their skin but it still looks like shining.
Lotion I recommend:
Albion Skin Conditoner (acne and sensitive skin)
Cosme Decorte Herbal Vitalizing Lotion (acne and sensitive skin)
Nuxe Gentle Toning Lotion ( absobed quickly into your skin, easy to use and affordable 13€/2 bottle, 200ML/each)
Whamisa Organic Flowers Lotion Orginal (normal to combination skin, suitable for autumn and winter)
Whamisa Organic Flowers Lotion Deep Rich (dry skin, suitable for winter)
Caudalie Moisturizing Toner (dry skin, suitable for winter)
Azoma-Zone Rose de Mai, real rose water, drinkable (normal to combination and oily skin, suitable for summer and autumn, for winter it should be mixed with 1-2 argan oil drops to ensure your skin is moisturized)
B. MOISTURIZER
After all skin care steps, do not forget moisturizing your skin, whether it is emulsion, cream, gel cream, oil-free cream, fluid cream, as long as these creams contain ingredients that help hydrates the skin, for example: hyaluronic acid.
If you do not use moisturizing creams and lotions, you can choose facial oil. Winter is cold and dry, facial oils is really suitable for all skin types, just make sure you choose the right oil for your skin.
C. TAKE CARE OF YOUR NECK
According to Dr. Eric Katagiri, a beauty expert from Japan, the skin on your neck is very sensitive and easy to form wrinkles. Japanese women take care of this area very thoroughly by exfoliation, sun protection and neck massage regularly.
Your age will reflect on your neck skin
The important step is to use an anti-aging moisturizer for the face apply throughout the neck area and gently massage each evening.
Small tips before going to bed: you can wrap a soft towel and put on the neck to avoid wrinkles during your sleeping.
CONCLUSION
Each skin care method is different, are you curious why’s that? Because each country, each region has unique climate and temperature as well as humidity. Applying skin care method that suitable with your skin type, climate and humidity is very important.
